Adventurous athletes have righteously sought to be downwardly mobile for centuries. As we ride through a new millennium the search continues, often leaving our noble athletes downwardly mobile in a financial sense as well as in a physical sense. In Downward Mobility, Bridger Productions reflects on the slow disappearance of wilderness and beauty in the recreational places of the world, primarily The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and the rugged, untouched realm of The South American Andes. Following a broad range of athletes, the film explores freedom through mobility, where traffic, crowds and pollution live in an ugly mundane world with all its laws and regulations. In contrast, the true soul of freedom yearns for places of sanctuary and when freedom feels outlawed, only outlaws will be free! Skiers:
